Since its creation in 1997, the Targa 37 has been one of the most enduring platforms in Nordic boating. For nearly 3 decades, the Targa 37 platform has demonstrated the long-lasting quality of both the boats and the original concept.

After nearly 30 years, the legendary Targa 37 platform is entering its next chapter and today we have the very first official exterior images of the 2027 model.

The next generation of Targa 37 will be making its debut in the United States during the 2026 Fall Boat Show season. Some notable changes include the following:

Aft Cockpit Seating Inspired by the Targa 46 and Targa 41

Integrated layout offers deeper seats with improved support for an elevated lounging experience.

Side Access Doors in the Hull

These offer a practical and easy side boarding experience from the dock.

Slightly Larger Beam

The larger beam allows Targa more opportunities for ergonomic improvements.

Full Galley Positioned Aft of the Helm

Bringing the functionality of the 46 and 41 to the 37’s footprint.

Recessed Windows Similar to the Targa 41

A subtle evolution in profile.

Hull Ports

Introducing more natural light into the midships sleeping accommodations.

The next-generation Targa 37 carries forward the core traits that have defined the model since its debut in 1997. Key features include:

• Full walk-around side decks

• Large sliding doors at the helm and companion seat

• Forward-leaning windshield for improved night visibility

• Fully enclosed, climate-controlled pilothouse

• Running performance with 30+ knot cruise speed and range of around 350 nautical miles

The 2027 update focuses on usability and access without altering what already works. Features like hull side doors, aft-deck seating from larger models, and a full aft galley are practical improvements that maintain the platform’s strengths: straightforward handling, short-handed operation, and long-term durability.
