How Much Does a New Targa 27.2 Cost?

If you’re researching the price of a new Targa 27.2, most builds fall between $420,000 and $570,000 USD, depending on specification. The average, well-equipped Targa 27.2 typically prices around $510,000 USD.

Final pricing is influenced by factors such as engine configuration, onboard systems, electronics packages, and optional equipment selected during the build process. While the Targa 27.2 is a sub-30-foot vessel, it delivers a level of quality, performance, and all-weather capability that places it firmly in a premium category.

Our prices do include a fully commissioned, fully fueled, well-equipped boat with a US Coat Guard Safety kit. The boat will be in the United States, but there may be an additional delivery charge depending on where the boat is being delivered to. Because each Targa 27.2 is thoughtfully personalized to suit how an owner plans to use the boat—whether for day boating, weekend cruising, or extended coastal travel—the most accurate pricing comes from building out a specific configuration and requesting a tailored quote.

FAQ

What is Beach Mode on the Targa 27.2?

This is the point at which the drives are trimmed up as much as possible where you can still make way. A practical use-case for this is when you’re approaching a beach in shallow water, or when you’re approaching a shallow dock, and you need to reduce your draft but still need to be able to maneuver.

What Is Air Draft on the Targa 27.2?

Air draft refers to the vertical height of the boat above the waterline, measured from the water’s surface to the highest fixed point on the vessel. This measurement is especially important when planning routes that include bridges, locks, or covered waterways, as it determines the minimum clearance required to pass safely.

Air Draft on the Targa 27.2

The Targa 27.2 is available in both Coupe and Flybridge configurations, each with different air draft measurements. Unlike larger Targa models, the 27.2 does not offer a mid air-draft setting; air draft is measured with antennas either lowered or fully raised. In Flybridge configuration, the Targa 27.2 has a minimum air draft of 13 feet 5.5 inches with antennas lowered, and a maximum air draft of 15 feet 2.5 inches with antennas raised. In Coupe configuration, the Targa 27.2 has a minimum air draft of 11 feet 1.5 inches with antennas lowered, and a maximum air draft of 12 feet 10 inches with antennas raised. Lowering antennas and removable equipment allows the Targa 27.2 to achieve its minimum air draft, improving bridge clearance when navigating height-restricted waterways.

Why Air Draft Matters on the Targa 27.2

The relatively low air draft of the Targa 27.2—particularly in Coupe form—makes it well suited for inland waterways and coastal cruising where bridge clearance can be a limiting factor. Combined with its compact size, protected pilothouse, and efficient performance, the Targa 27.2 offers impressive versatility for owners navigating a wide range of cruising environments.
