Accommodations
A beautifully finished interior done in the "Herreshoff Style" with varnished cherry accents on white semi-gloss panels with 2 staterooms, each with a double berth, head with stall shower and up galley. The sole below is varnished teak and holly while the salon is carpeted. In keeping with the original (and the second and current owner's) desire of not making the boat overly complicated, there is an abundance of natural light and ventilation (the better to avoid the need for air conditioning), with three large hatches and six opening ports. Up in the wheelhouse one is totally surrounded by light as large windows (six of them sliders with screens) are fitted in the house. Equally generous 12 volt lighting is fitted throughout with swivel style reading lamps at the berths and settees and several overhead dome style lamps elsewhere. Generous headroom with 6'6" in the wheelhouse and just slightly less below. Espar diesel cabin heat was added when she was two years old and keeps the boat warm in virtually any weather. The original cabin heat was provided by the Dickinson propane fireplace mounted in the salon.

Starting forward is the Forward Stateroom featuring a 48" X 7'4" berth which is tapered at the foot. Above the berth there is storage in underdeck lockers and below the berth there is storage in 4 cargo drawers and some bin type storage further forward. A dressing seat is on C/L and there is a hanging locker to port.

Aft and to starboard is the midship stateroom featuring a 44" by 7' double berth with 4 large cargo drawers below and bin type storage fore and aft. Aft is a bureau with 4 large drawers and forward is an equally generous hanging locker. The staterooms are very equivalent, so choose whichever one you want as the "Master".

Opposite to port is the Head featuring electric W.C. plumbed via a Y-valve to the holding tank, vanity with polished stainless steel sink and an abundance of storage with lockers outboard and in lockers and drawers under. Adjoining the head is the separate stall shower with separate sump. There is a seat outboard under which there is storage.

Up three steps (storage under two of them) to the Salon, Galley (see Galley below and Helm Station). A large 6'6" X 4'8" L-shaped settee with storage under provides plenty of seating while dining is from a varnished teak pedestal table. Opposite to port is the fore and aft running galley.

Forward and to starboard is the Helm Station with full vessel navigation systems and vessel controls as well as the yacht's electrical distribution panels. Outboard there is storage in lockers. A Bennett Rivermaster pedestal seat provides comfort for the skipper while on longer runs. Opposite to port is a double Bennett seat mounted on joiner work which provides additional storage below. Forward there is space for using the chart kit.
